A thiefwith a penchant for cleanliness was nabbed red-handed by police not far from the scene of his crime.
Charged with break and enter and stealing, Daniel McPherson pleaded guilty before Batemans Bay Local Court on October 13.

He stole a Playstation and games, a Nintendo and games, one roll of toilet paper, a box of washing detergent and toiletry products before making his getaway.
A member of the public who heard the sound of smashing glass alerted police, who found Mr McPherson some distance from the house.
Magistrate Doug Dick ordered the defendant to pay the house owner compensation of $610.50 for the smashed windows, sentenced him to a 12-month suspended sentence and placed him on a 12-month good behaviour bond.
